Squares with Concentric Circles (1913) by Wassily Kandinsky Masterpiece Reproduction Printed in Refined Aluminum
Kandinsky is generally credited as the pioneer of abstract art. Born in Moscow, Kandinsky spent his childhood in Odessa, where he graduated at Grekov Odessa Art school. Kandinsky's paintings from this period are large, expressive colored masses evaluated independently from forms and lines; these serve no longer to delimit them, but overlap freely to form paintings of extraordinary force.
Printed on Refined aluminum, this is a rigid material of 4mm / 1/6th of an inch.
